Brief: The objective was to develop a full scale client / server taxi booking application to handle 10,000 bookings a day. 

Solution: Working in conjunction with one of the world's biggest offshore software development companies, CODE produced the requirements specification and all user interface screen design.

  • Web based architecture allows rapid deployment and scalability
  • Searchable directory of location, via an online mapping system
  • Secure Client and Operator extranets, allowing remote access to the internal system
  • Data translation: email, fax and web bookings all translated into the core system, automatically
  • Customer account management and billing via Sage

    Benefits: Since launch, Taxibank has been able to process many more taxi bookings. As a result the company has opened a new UK call centre and attracted more than 10 major clients. None of this would have been possible without the new booking system.
